Dear, dear child of GOD, with your (most likely naive self)… whenever you find yourself swinging all the way from your “everybody is good” to “everybody is evil” phases of your specific life…. Do give thyself grace. It’s actually OK. Remember that you’re better off not expecting people to give it to you, so give it to yourself.
In my experience, eventually you will find balance. You WILL find as you follow on in Christ just how to center yourself somewhere in between loving your enemies and being as wise as a freaking serpent.
You will find that in alignment with the infamous fruit your greatest grandmother ate, there really is good AND evil in this world and you’ll resolve yourself to just having to find the discernment to differentiate between these distinct two.
You will find this balance but ONLY if you remain with and forever in The Holy Spirit.
