“Is it just your personality or are you bound by a demon? If there ever was a list of important questions to ask one’s self, this would be on it. Imagine going through life claiming demonic oppression as your character trait. In that state, since you justify it, you give free rein to that spirit to use you to torment and torture people around you. Everyone needs an honest, Holy Spirit lead self evaluation to determine wether bad traits and tendencies in your life are actually you or there are spirits weaponizing you through a door you’ve left open. Sometimes the doo is not even nefarious, it could just be your ignorance.
We all have three major tanks where our problems stem from. Sometimes it’s your flesh, (your self) other times it’s the world (your environment/society) and finally it could just be the devil (includes is fellow fallen angels and their demon kids). This last one is where deliverance comes into play. The first two sources you will need to be real with yourself, accept God’s standards as your own and fiercely defend them.
You can’t get victory over any of these sources of contention and problems unless you first discern which of them is the causing the issue you face. Next you need to address it. Don’t ignore or make excuse for it, bad things grow in the dark and denial requires lies. There is no light in lies and pretending. You need to square up and face it head on.
So, get disciplined where your personality requires it, set godly boundaries with the world’s way of doing things, (as for me and my house ish) and then get free from the influence of demons wherever they have taken hold.
Repentance is all but a cuss word in religious circles these days. The overwhelming talks on grace has all but eradicated the need for a heart to truly allow godly sorrow bring them to repentance before God. True repentance and a faithful walk with Gods comes only by the combination of grace from God and your faith in Him. The Holy Spirit must bring the truth of God’s word alive in your heart and you must come to a place where you prefer that truth above lies.
God may gives things but you may choose to not receive. You have the personal responsibility of being willing to receive what God freely gives. Are you willing to walk with God and accept the things that He’ll want to cut out of your life or are you just fine with your sins and the pain your in because letting wrong things go is just too much to ask. If you love your sin, your will be allowed to keep them along with their accompanying pains and consequences. For instance, don’t cry about anxiety and depression when you refuse to let go of the practices that CAUSE anxious and depressed outcomes in any life that violates GOD’s clearly stated laws.”
God’s boundaries are my freedom.
