“Waiting makes faith a necessity. No wonder our fight is described as the good fight of faith and we’re told that the just shall live by faith AND that without faith it is impossible to please GOD. There’s so much emphasis placed on faith throughout scripture that it’s obvious that God knew we’d need it (that assurance from Him) in order to live in the present with joy and in righteousness consistently. You don’t need faith for things you’ve already received and seen. Faith is always a matter of the future. Since the future is always unseen and ahead we must always and daily walk with faith in GOD’s Word as our guiding light though out all of life.
We’re constantly on a cycle of receiving and waiting to receive things from our Father. That’s just how it goes. So we might as well get really good at waiting on GOD well and with a good attitude. Otherwise you will unnecessarily complicate your life and make it unpleasant with grumbling and complaining instead of resting in peace and joy while praising God because you have confidence in His heart towards us.Many people grow weary of well doing and impatiently exit God’s Will because they loose faith in His loving heart towards us. Pain and disappointment can do that, I know I have. Anyone can be frustrated and tempted into taking things into their own hands and fall away from being aligned with God. Ask anyone who’s ever tried it, I bet they tell not to do it. It’s just never worth it in the end. God gets the glory even in the waiting if you’d rest and let Him.
Faith, which we’re forewarned is to be the lifestyle of the Believer becomes most essential in the waiting seasons, the in-betweens of life if you will. Faith is confidence in God’s revelation of the future even when the present looks nothing like what He said.
Knowing and believing the character of GOD will be our Anchor in these seasons.
I hope I learn to enjoy the middle of my story because our journeys require seasons of processing to equip us to steward the blessings excellently. We must all ask for more of the part of The Holy Spirit’s fruit that is patience a.k.a long suffering.
Many great things are promised to those who wait upon The LORD, scour the scriptures and find them. Start with Isaiah 40:31.”
Resting in peace after you’re dead depends on HOW you’ve live. 🤷🏽♀️
