“They’re not designed to be because we’re all supposed to go to God for that.
I find that peace is grossly misunderstood in today’s culture. I understand that It’s become a rather trendy line to throw around or concept to insinuate and is even advocated for by both genders this idea that people have the capacity to be each other’s peace.
While the error of that belief doesn’t excuse toxic or bad behaviors it also doesn’t make it true that your being at peace is someone else’s responsibility. I believe that’s a private matter between you and God.
Those with clearances for being in closest proximity to you merely get to participate in, contribute to or benefit from your peace, they’re not to source or sustain it on your behalf. D’yu understand the gravity of BEING something? Think like BEING GOD or BEING human. Being is something you are, like the essence of you and so the simple truth is that no one is another person’s peace. None.
Since peace is not the absence of turbulence but the calm and steady resolve in the midst of it, it should surprise precisely no one that ONLY GOD can bear that burden and successfully supply it consistently.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:7.
