A Side Note.
One day I’ll find the right balance in enjoying art created by the probably damned. There might be more effective methods pith ther but for now I edit out the absolute filth in my mind. I role my eyes, smile, laugh, smirk, burst out laughing and shake my head at the absolute garbage in many an artistic works but genuinely enjoy the rest. Here’s sincere cheers to us consciously consuming content because the way these spirits be willin out these days? we cannot afford to be out here mindlessly being entertained. Take that song above for instance, how can you not enjoy the good parts? But you need a filter to catch the trash and throw it out immediately. This isn’t a complaint it’s a confession of the strategies you’ll have to deploy to actively participate is filtering out evil from good in your own world. Summary? Music especially be some influential shit to filter out the utter bullshit and keep the good. Some areas of course are easier to do than others but try. So far, people are the hardest to sort because only God know hears enough to change them and most folks be out here scamming and straight up cos playing at this point bro. Obviously people’s comfort levels and acceptance of various degrees of mixtures of good and evil do vary and THAT in my experience is the real challenge. Thankfully, God doesn’t do simultaneously good and evil people. He takes evil hearts and mixed hearts and makes them good in Himself otherwise He “spits their lukewarm asses out”. If you already know of Jesus and remaining with a mixed heart is not just good enough for you but is actively your preference as is evident in your lifestyle then I can already prophesy to you now for free that judgement will shock you.
