“Repentance is a journey you take not a statement you say. If there is no righteous fruit evident in your life then you have not truly been saved. No one who is born of God can carry on making a lifestyle of sin. No one is without sin but when a believer since the repentance is immediate and thorough with evidence of change.
Basically, Righteous Fruit IS the evidence of our salvation. Whenever a believer stumbles into sin (as in without consciously planing it and doing it) they don’t have the ability or desire to remain in it. The Holy Spirit in us won’t allow us dwell in that state. Swift repentance and a commitment to holy living are clear markers of a true saved person.
If Saul a Uber religious murderer who did his evils in the name of God can be so radically changed into, Paul the apostle with such magnificent fruits that evidenced his salvation what’s your excuse for remaining the same whilst claiming to be in Christ?”
The Bible says in 1 John 3; 8-9 that No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. These highlighted words are intentional.
If you judge yourself (take out your own log in the eyes, no one else would have to judge and correct you. So if you have such a phobia of being corrected then listen to the promptings of The Holy Spirit and self correct.”

Regret is not repentance. Fruit is fruit and works are works. Learn the difference. It’s by their fruits we are told to know them.
