If you fail to grasp this, you will end up with a life infested with agents of satan or “barely-there” Christians in whom demons dwell and over whom’s minds unclean spirits have oppression/influencing rights. This oversight is how one ends up giving access to the kingdom of darkness to speak lies and carry out actions to distract, derail, delay, or outrightly destroy your life.
If you choose to ignore this truth and continue on in casual living, remember that GOD who created the angel that fell into “satan-hood” has warned you ahead of time of the character of this adversary of yours who comes equipped with a kingdom order under him and will very much enjoy making coordinated efforts to run train on your life. You have been warned.
Walking in your authority comes from knowing your identity. Part of knowing who you are is knowing who you’re not. Hence, Test every spirit to know if they are of God and know how to differentiate good from evil people by judging the fruits of their hearts. The Bible says that Good trees cannot bear bad fruit and bad trees cannot bear good fruit. In other words the good or evil of (and about) people cannot be hidden. Turns out “…You will know them” just as God said we would. What applies to discernment within the church applies to discerning in the streets.
