1) It’s HILARIOUS.
This movie is not ha-ha funny, it’s stupid funny, and by that I mean I CAN NOT remember the last time a movie had me laughing and howling and having to pause in tears from cackling. This thing is some excellent comedy, I’m telling you, thank me later.
2) The Cast Is Literally A1.
I’m not even joking, but when was the last time you watched a Netflix original work with a cast list like this? They so pulled out all the stops, it’s insane. Here are just a few; Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, it’s NUtS. It’s almost like, Why so many?
3) It Is Freakishly Accurate.
If there really was a planet-killing Comet headed toward earth right now, I don’t know how but (in my opinion), this movie has basically NAILED IT on what people’s responses would be, to a literal TEE. It’s creepy how accurate this is. The confusion, chaos, division, delayed actions, selfish ambitions and the preservation of a wealthy few via a top-secret planned extraction project would pretty much sum it up. Most people won’t be allowed to know and even when they finally do, the majority won’t believe it until it’s too late. Of course there’s also the question of wether it would even BE avertable it the first place.
Do you know how I know that when people are told wonderful things like a travelling Comet would destroy the earth they won’t believe it? because we’ve seen it before! It wasn’t a Comet but I think a global flood is a pretty darn close reference. See, what most people don’t realise is that in the days of Noah, people watched that man build that Ark and preach about that flood for 120 YEARS until it happened. Yep, I said One Hundred and Twenty. It was a well-known prophecy at the time. He most likely even hired people to help build such a massive project and yet, nobody else except his 7 family members and his grandpa Enoch escaped that flood. 9 PEOPLE! that’s it. Nothing is new under the sun. Every generation of people will do the exact same things in the face of such wonderful existential threats.
4) Everything Is Now Political. So, Association of Fake Christians Beware.
If you don’t think everything is now political in this current climate, you are either unwise or not paying much attention. For all its attempts at oneness, wow the world really seems to be getting more polarised, doesn’t it? nearly everything is now a hot-button issue. Personally, the stakes are getting higher and things keep heating up, clarity is happening. I love this new phase we’re entering. Yup, it’s great, let everyone “come out of the closet“, Let us ALL be who we really are. Two teams seem to be appearing which is fantastic, “team don’t look up” vs “team look up” in the movie is a great example of how the world really is and always will be but I don’t think we’ve noticed. There are only two teams guys, (God’s description) Theres “team light” and “team darkness” THAT’S IT! skin pigmentation, country, religion every other categorisation is irrelevant. There are only 2 and we don’t agree on anything.
God gave us all free will and we are all entitled to use it. Believe what you will and do it freely and then just as confidently be ready to “face the consequences with your full chest“. God has said what he wants and doesn’t want and before you say “nobody told me” guess what God says, that all of CREATION IS YOUR GOSPEL, ie, The Sun, Moon, Stars, Earth etc. THERE’S your gospel. So everyone is without excuse as far as He’s concerned. Humans come with the law of God written somewhere on their hearts, that’s what a conscience is. Now you can kill it, harden it and ignore it but it was given to you, what you choose to do with it is on you. You were given choice and you get to choose, just know that AFTER you have chosen, He has consequences waiting for you. Ce bon?
Especially in the church! gosh, I’m tired of “tares” posing as us. Me? I love clarity, so if you are Light, please be light so that we see you clearly and if you’re of the kingdom of darkness be yourself and represent your team and do it clearly too so that we can all see. God sees the heart, we do not. It would help us all a great deal if you stopped pretending now. Honestly, you might as well give up your ruse because the only person whose opinion matters is the very one who sees you clearly and can never be deceived. “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked…”. There’s something called “the falling away” that’s apparently supposed to be happening soon and I for one, am very excited about it. We’ve had enough of the fakers and liars and pretenders in the body of Christ, enough. Stand in the light and let’s see who you are. Let us all see each other clearly. That’s why I’m glad that The Bible Is apolitical and that “fruits” cannot be faked.
5) No, Not A Comet, But An Asteroid?
Is there a giant asteroid currently coming toward earth as you’re reading this? well, a lot of very intelligent and gifted-minded people seem to think so. Kind of. All I know and can say is that there is an event described in The Revelation of Jesus Christ, (the last book of the Bible) that’s called “Wormwood” which sounds eerily similar to this story. Whether The Church will be here when it makes contact with Earth or not is apparently still THE big debate right now, however, I personally believe that we won’t be but we’ll see. Look, If I’m not the best person to talk to y’all about stuff, I won’t. So instead I’ll introduce you to the people who are and have spoken about them and you get to make up your own mind.
