If you’re like me then this is a real head scratcher but knowing GOD and His infinite wisdom we don’t dwell on this too much. Noah to me portrayed a lot of faith by believing God in building an ark and warning folks when it had never even rained on earth before yet Abraham is the one who’s called to be the father of faith. What I have concluded is that the world seems to gravitate towards tests and sample projects so Israel is that for us. There is a growing aggravation against this set of chose people but I personally am not mad at their status as God’s chosen nation.
What’s wrong with God restarting His relationship with man after the fall with a sample size of people? (specifically the linage of Shem) Look what it has birthed. All over the world people are now excited about being “grafted in” because of the success of the sample used as a proof of concept. I am vehemently behind God on this and grateful He chose them to prove His concept of relationship with us humans. What would the world be without the great example of Israel?
I am from the line of Ham, Japheth’s line are the white guys and Shem is the father of the Middle Eastern people hence Abraham, David and Jesus all being middle eastern. Personally, that’s the most neutral and wisest choice. In the end we are all God’s children again.
